About me
My name is Melissa Leyva, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Az. As a cosmetology student I am readying myself to step into a creative and hands-on world of beauty. I have an Associates degree in General Business. I was a college athlete and I have also participated in beauty pageants.My love for the beauty world started at a young age though it was not the first thing that I pursued career wise, my love for it brought me back, and I'm so happy that it did. I plan to specialize in event updo styling!

As a cosmetology student I am readying myself to step into a creative and hando-on world where beauty, artistry, and confidence cometogther as one. I have already gained incredible real-world experience by participating as a stylist for Phoenix. Fashion week, and being able to showcase my talent in a high pressure and fast paced enviornment. As I continue learning, I am also sharpening my eye for detail and growing my passion for event up-do styles. By the end I want to be the kind of stylist who transforms looks, but also helps people feel their absolute best for life's biggest moments!
