After working as a medical claim specialist for various insurance companies over the years, and after I had my first child, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business as a entrepreneur …. Coincidentally, 6 months into that journey I discovered I was pregnant with my second child. I felt the need to expand my business and launch MinxByHoustonMia as its own entity to focus specifically on retail cosmetic products and accessories. I loved the new challenges I faced as a new entrepreneur and mom and it didn't take long for me to discover that this was my calling….make up & skin therapy. Taking a leap of faith I enrolled in Ogle School of hair and nails to fulfill my dreams of thriving in the beauty industry. WALAH! Here I am; 1 phase before graduation!
