About me
hello, my name is Mikayla and I am a current student at the ROC cosmetology program in Bakersfield California. I am 17 and my home school is Highland high school. I got interested in this career because I do colorguard at my school and have helped my teammates with hair and makeup and it showed me that I am good at it and should expand my skill.

I am here in the cosmetology program because I find it very artistic and I want to show my creative side of myself when I am not preforming in front of an audeince. I have been intrested in the hair,and skin side of cosmetology and wish to grow my experience in those feilds as I go along in my cosmo adventure. I hope to meet many other professionals in these feilds to help as I go on this adventure. I wish that I get to connect with many people and get to help them on their journey in finding themselves.
