Misty Doughtie

My name is Misty Doughtie. I am 34yrs old And I am a recent graduate from Paul Mitchel of Norman.I have always had an interest in cutting hair, starting with my own. I started cutting my own hair as a teenager and then moved onto cutting friends and family as a hobby. For a long time thats all it was, just a hobby. I worked for the chickasaw Nation casinos for my entire young adult life. But that was getting me no where and i became uninspired and unmotivated in life.Thats when i decided to make a change and looked into Barber School. I fell in love with the idea and enrolled myself immediately. Threw this last year in Barber school i have really learned to hone in my craft. I have gained more knowledge on hair lightening techniques. Color techniques. Etc. Threw my fantastic instructor I have refined my skills and have a strong desire to be creative and be the best I can be.
