About me
Hello everyone! My name is Molly Gillis and I'm currently a student at Summit Salon Academy. I'm 21 years old and am proud to call the small town of Sumner, Washington my hometown!! I graduated high school in June of 2023 and went straight to college in the fall at Central Washington University for business. After about a semester there, I left because I realized hair will forever be my passion and hold special place in my heart. I'm beyond happy and eager with this decision and would have not wanted my journey to flourish any other way! Why I'm here
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a hairstylist. There's something deeply fulfilling about transforming someone's day just by giving them a new cut or color that makes them smile. For me, hairstyling is more than just a craft- it's a way to connect, to listen, and to lift others up. Making people feel confident, beautiful and uniquely themselves is so powerful. I've always loved doing hair and being creative, but what truly drew me to this path was the chance to make a real, personal impact on people. I get to be apart of people's lives, celebrations, victory & loses and even their healing moments- and that's a gift I'll never take for granted.
