Hello my name is Monica Satterwhite. I attend Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC. I am passionate about natural hair, and hair exentions!. Extensions create allusions and gives you the desired style even with the genetic make up of hair you or do no have. You can change the texture, the length, the color, even add volume. Extensions are also a canvas to protect the natural hair. I can enjoy the change of my physical appearence without the physical damage to my natural hair. I personally experience telogen effluvium, which is a small amount of hair loss during or after pregnancy. I have also always enjoyed my natural hair and its texture and versatility. But when my hair fell out i became destraught and I did not feel beautiful. I was told cut it off where the breakage begin and start over wear “protective styles” but i did not like “weaves” because they look so “artificial” It did not look natural because it was not my natural hair. Over the years extensions has evovled and become so popular because of its new natural appearence. Women can now embrace their natural appearence while protecting their natural hair! And this is my passion i want to make women feel beautiful naturally, while protecting their natural hair!
