Monique Bowles

Hi, I’m Monique Bowles—also known as Mo—the founder of Mo Body & Soul, a salon rooted in intention, creativity, and care. I specialize in healthy hair care and silk presses, with a deep commitment to creating safe, affirming spaces for Black women to feel seen and cared for. Since launching my business in 2025, I’ve built a one-of-a-kind salon experience that prioritizes client wellness just as much as hair results.

I’m passionate about teaching, mentoring, and expanding access to quality Black hair education. Through my BLK Hair Care classes and hands-on mentorship program, I support the next generation of stylists in mastering foundational techniques and cultivating professional excellence.
What sets me apart is my dedication to the process—I take time with each client and treat hair as a form of connection, not just a service. I bring that same devotion to every opportunity I take on, whether it’s behind the chair, in front of the camera, or working with brands that align with my values.
