Hi, I'm Morgan! I am passionate about all things beauty and wellness. My love and passion for beauty sparked as a little girl. I was a competitive cheerleader, and glitter and glamour became my life. I grew up in a small town in southern Missouri. I moved to Columbia in 2017 and obtained my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science in December 2019. As the youngest in my family, and the first one to earn a college degree, I learned the value of hard work and how to sacrifice to get what I want. I believe my greatest strengths are empathy, ambition, and perseverance.
I decided to become a beauty profressional because I want to help those who have experienced the same struggles with insecurity and body/image issues as I have. While growing up as a cheerleader had its perks, the sport, along with society's unrealistic beauty standards, ignited in me a distorted self-image. Years of unlearning negative values taught me how to love myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Self-love is a constant journey, and in my early twenties, doubt sunk in again when I started having extreme hormonal acne. Acne is not only physically painful, but it can actually be nearly debilitating. My journey to healing my acne sparked my passion for skincare. It has taken time, but I have learned that beauty truly comes from within. I know my purpose in life is to make others feel beautiful, loved, and important. Serving and caring for people is my greatest joy. It is my goal to make all of my clients feel and understand that they are one-of-kind human beings that have a purpose on this planet. I hope that I can be an asset to my clients on their personal self-love journey.
