Myayuna Williams

Hello, 

I'm Myayuna (my-yaw-nuh), or Mya for short! I live in San Antonio, TX but I'm originally from Leesburg, FL. I graduated from the Elaine Sterling Institute in Atlanta, GA where I was a master cosmetology student. As of November 1, 2024, I am a licensed cosmetologist in Georgia and now as of July 15th, 2025 in Texas.

Oddly enough, I started my cosmetology journey because of a dream I had in January 2020 while I was studying abroad in London during my first degree. This dream being that I owned my own salon and makeup brand. It couldn't have been any further from what I was studying but I let the ideas just flow and a year after I graduated from University of Central Florida with my B.Sc. In Entertainment Management I ended up taking the leap into beauty.

Since that dream, my goals have evolved. I realized that my degree is a lot more adjacent to beauty than I considered to the point if I wanted to I could combine them. I also realized that the knowledge and experience that I’ve gotten in the Entertainment Industry will help me tons as I continue to learn, experience, and grow in this industry.

With this in mind, I intend to continue learning and perfecting my craft with education, shadow/mentorship opportunities, and meaningful employment that allows plenty of opportunity for growth!
