Myke Obin

Hi, my name is Myke I have been in the hair industry for over 19 years. I grew a passion for the hair industry at a very young age when I was able to pick up the broom and push hair around I was hired. My grandfather had a successful baber shop for 45 in the town I grew up in. My aunt ownded two salons in Lexington, Ma. They where very high end very prestigious salons that have won many awards. The salon had had all the gliz abd glamor golds, blacks, and accents of red it spoke rich luxury. She use to do color, hilight and cut both my mom and grandmother, then she would foil my sistes, then she would pull mine through the cap. I was so mesmerized by the process I would watch every single process. Then Id go home and try to recreate the foils on a mannequin head she gave me. It came so natural! By the age of 17 I was doing everyones hair in the neighborhood making a little side money while at it. I graduated in 2006 and 2008 I had 2 successful salon and day spa of my own when the economy collapsed in around 2012 I closed up the salons and went back into the medical feild. Then ive been dabling back in salons here and there. I was a Matrix educator for a short while. I was also a Global Team Educator for Z.one Conects. I also did sales and education inside the U.S. with Ugene Perma. I was a creative director for Croc. I was a brand Ambassador for Enso.
