Starting over never looked this good.
Starting over never looked this good.

I'm a mom, a wife, and an experienced educator who spent 12 years teaching before choosing to reinvent myself in the beauty industry. I've loved this field since I was 18 years old. I'm now 35 and starting a new career for a chance to start over in a space that inspires me creatively and personally.

I'm ready to build a career that reflects who I am and what I'm capable of. After years of putting others first, I want to show other moms and women my age that it's never too late to go after what you want.
I'm also a mom of two biracial children, and through them I've fallen deeply in love with textured hair. Their experiences opened my eyes to how important it is for stylists to understand and celebrate all hair types. I'm eager for the opportunity to learn, grow, and to one day improve the lack of Afro hair education in cosmetology schools.
I assisted my lead teacher in taking care of children ages 3-5 years old.
I cared for children ages 3-5 years old. I Won multiple awards, and pursued alot of continued education courses.
I taught kindergarteners at a private school for 4 years.
