When I was in highschool I used to really be into makeup and I was really good at it. My family started telling me that I could be a makeup artist if that was something I was interested in. I always had cosmetology in mind and I also had no idea what a esthetician was. I suddenly started not liking the way I did my makeup. I felt that it made me look older and I just wanted a more natural look. I started getting hormonal acne towards the end of highschool and that really messed with my confidence so I started learning everything I could about hormonal acne. Eventually I found out about estheticians and knew it was something I wanted to pursue.
