Growing up I always had interest in the beauty industry, I would do my friends and family's hair and makeup. I started my journey in cosmetology school, but it wasn't the right timing. I ended up not finishing and found myself lost on what I wanted to do after highschool. Before attending my aesthetics program I spent some time searching for who I truly was, for my purpose. It took me a while to realize or even admit that I struggled with my mental health, as well as my self worth. I really focused on learning to love myself, and to heal wounds that were repressed. I focused on switching my negative outlook on life to a positive one. I incorporated ways to balance myself. I found a deep importance in self care/wellness. Now since I've been in the asthetics program my values have changed. I'm not just in it for the beauty aspect, I want to incorporate self care and wellness. I also want to have more of a holistic approach within this industry ,while at the same time helping my clients feel more confident in their own skin!
