My interest in the beauty industry started after too many bad experiences and lackluster service in the salons. Feeling robbed and dissatisfied after one of those visites, sparked a personal desire to seriously learn about hair. I was intrigued; I needed to learn the latest techniques and trends in the beauty industry. Soon after, I started my path as a student Master Cosmetologist at Aveda Science and Arts Institute in Atlanta. At the start of my journey at Aveda, I felt like a new born baby, so fresh, so new, and inexperienced. Through Aveda, I have obtained the building blocks to pass the Georgia State Board licensing exam, and gained more confidence to begin my cosmetology career. I plan to not only set trends as a beautician, but to also provide an exceptional experience for my guess. I will do this by listening diligently to the wants and needs of my clients, by being informative and as knowledgeable as possible. With ongoing education, experience, and professionalism, my hope is for clients to feel safe and confident enough to build a trusting long lasting relationship with me as their personal beautician. As a soon to be graduate, November 13, 2021, with the help of the Beacon Elite program, I will be totally equipped and well on my way to cosmetology mastery.
