I am here because I am extremely passionate about the world of beauty and I think it is a wonderful industry to be apart of with endless opportunities. Ever since I was little I always knew that when I grew up I wanted to have a career that would allow me to help people or animals. Helping others and giving back to the community has always brought me so much joy. I attend Aveda Institute and I had no idea what Aveda was going to spark in me. The world of Aveda combines both of my passions in one. Not only does Aveda help others and give back to the community and the world around us but all of their products are cruelty free. I have the ability to make other people smile while protecting the environment as well. The world of beauty truly means so much more to me than just the privilege of being able to perform a service for a guest. Seeing the look on someone's face after I've completed a service, seeing their smile and hearing how beautiful they feel, and being able to connect with and establish such meaningful relationships with each guest is what I love so much about this industry. It allows me to express my creativity in a multitude of ways. You never know what someone is going through and you only have a limited time with your guests during each visit and I believe that if you spend the time you have with them making it as warm and welcoming as you can you create a safe space for your guest and that one interaction can turn their entire day around. Having the opportunity to attend Beacon would be a dream come true because it would allow me to further my education and dive into the world of beauty even further.
