About me, Well my name is Nikita Wemigwans Robinson. (Wemigwans is my maiden name, origin is Native American Chippewa) I was Born and raised in Houston,TX and is currently attending Paul Mitchel The School of Houston. I always, always loved hair anything dealing with beauty, looking good, hair, makeup, extensions etc you name it. I’ve started doing hair at a very young age being I was the oldest keeping my siblings groomed. The culture of my family was to never walk around “with your hair all over your head.” My passion started with struggling with traction alopecia so I was even more driven and determined to find ways to do my hair/experiment on myself to keep up with the latest trends. If you are a person that struggled with alopecia you know how hard it is finding a hair stylist that can work around and to cover up your sensitive areas so it won’t be so noticeable while looking trendy. Going even harder fighting alopecia trying to keep as much hair and maintain what I have left made me a walking confidant billboard for my brand without even knowing or just people not even knowing I have alopecia is what made me go harder. I’ve been in Retail Managment over 10 years starting at a very young age. I have experience in High End Fashion Shows with Kuteka Printell. Brand Ambassador for L’Oreal in 09’. My saying is, Hair is something you have to have a passion for not just like doing. My passion with hair runs deep within my self and I know I will be able to instill that passion with my clients, guest and with anything I put my mind to. I’m an a extremely confident person and I am my brand!
