Hi ! My name is Nikki, and I’m a newly (temporarily) licensed barber straight out of school ! I’m very passionate about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and seen when in my chair. I have a strong focus on attention to detail, precision, and cleanliness, striving to make sure everyone who leaves me chair feels satisfied with their experience and the end result.

Why I'm here
As a queer barber, I was inspired to get into this field after facing discrimination in the past when trying to get affirming haircuts for myself. Some barber shops would deny me service because I wasn’t a man, and no one should have to face discrimination while getting a haircut. As someone who also knows that haircuts are more than just a haircut, I want to be able to provide a safe and inclusive environment for people to be themselves and leave feeling confident and affirmed. I am eager to continue to grow and develop my skills further to not only grow in my career, but also make a difference in my own community.

I have been with Aldi since February of 2022, currently working at the Aliquippa location. I've been recently promoted to LSA so I am developing my customer service and interpersonal skills there, ...
