NOLAS began as a chance brainstorm of Denise Riley and Kelly Rapp, two savvy business women whose differences seemed to fit together like yin and yang -It’s the collision of two go-getters. In August 2002, they opened NOLAS (which is salon spelled backwards). Denise worked as a nail technician and owned her own salon in the Detroit area before moving to Akron.
Kelly Rapp is a third-generation hair stylist, she is known for her great cuts and expertise in hair coloring and highlights. Keeping up with trends and styles is top priority to us, our technicians are licensed and educated in the most current industry methods. We strive to use the best available products and pride ourselves on being the cleanest and most reliable and punctual salon in Akron.
