About me
Hello my name is Olivia Cassese, and I am passionate about all things beauty. I am currently enrolled in the cosmetology program at the Aveda Institute located in Orlando, Florida. My years of cheerleading have driven me to my love for hair and makeup, and given me the ability to work best with people around me. After graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Retail Entrepreneurship, I decided to further my education and chase my dreams of being a licensed cosmetologist. With a business degree and a cosmetology license, I am hoping to have a business of my own one day that makes people leave feeling like they are about to walk the runway!

Why I'm here
In 8th grade I would get in trouble for braiding my friends hair in math class. In high school I was asked to do everyone's makeup for Homecoming and Prom. During my years of cheerleading I would do my teammates braids, ponytails, and smokey eyes. The list goes on and on! Cosmetology is something that I have always been passionate about. I was job hunting, until my mother said to me, "Olivia, what are you doing? Go to beauty school!" and it has truly been the best advice she has ever given me. Nothing makes me feel more like me than doing hair and makeup. I am very lucky because I get to wake up everyday and know that I have discovered my passion. They say that work never feels like work when you are doing something that you love, and for the first time, I know exactly what they are talking about.
