Olivia Montgomery

Hi! My name is Olivia Montgomery. I am a hair stylist and salon owner based in Tyler, TX. I started behind the chair in 2014 and opened my salon Backbone Hair + Beauty in 2018.After many years of building a clientele and confidence in my work, I felt I was stuck in a rut doing the same services and was not fulfilled as an artist. I decided to move myself downtown and start reforming my clientele to do the work I wanted to do. Reforming my clientele and becoming known as THE salon that specializes in vivid color in my area feels amazing. It brings me so much joy helping others transform their emotions, style, and fashion into their hairstyle. Being yourself is hard in a world where everyone wants to tell you who to be. My goal as a hairstylist is to help people express themselves and not feel ashamed for it!
