My name is Olivia Pacha, I grew up in Iowa City, IA and my passion has always lied in the beauty industry. As a little girl I would constantly play in my moms makeup, dress up my dolls and do their hair, I would even set up a clothing store that I made my mom pretend to shop in. I think my passion really started with clothes and makeup first. My mom, working for Mary Kay, had me playing in the makeup samples all the time and that's where I found my love for makeup. I eventually started doing prom and homecoming makeup and that also found myself doing hair for these events as well. I became pretty popular with these kinds of events, I've even done some wedding makeup, senior photos, and maternity photoshoot hair and makeup. After discovering this passion of mine I decided to go to school for fashion, so I ended up getting my AA in Apparel Merchandising and Fashion. The reason I only got my AA was because while I was in school for those 2 years I was also working as a receptionist at an Aveda Hair Salon and found myself really loving everything that the stylist would do. I found a huge interest in the science behind coloring hair, how you could enhance someone's appearance so much making that client feeling happy and confident when they left the salon. I then toured Aveda Institute of Des Moines and fell in love with it and felt this was something I needed to invest myself in. My passion lies in this industry because of the way I get to make people feel. Confidence is something that was harder for me to accept but once I found it in myself I knew I wanted others to feel that way too, even if it's as simple as having amazing hair or their makeup done. I would say my passion fuels my soul, I have always been one to have drive with my future, I want to become successful but in the best way possible, not for fame and fortune but for doing what I can do to the best of my abilities.
