About me
Hello! My name is Oriona! I currently attend Paul Mitchell The School Great Lakes. I have been so grateful for the education that I have received so far. I have worked hard to complete texture, short hair cutting, long hair cutting, and color honors.

Why I'm here
Beauty school was not my first option to be completely honest. I always knew that I wanted to help others in some way. While growing up I wasn't taught how to properly take care of my type of hair so as a result I was not confident in my curls and would straighten it quite often. My curl pattern became very damaged and unhealthy. After 3 years of trial and error and sitting in chairs of stylists that didn't genuinely care about my hair or would turn me away I finally have been able to be confident in myself and love my curls for what they are. I decided to take this journey for that reason. I believe that everyone deserves help and kindness to get them where they can love themselves to the fullest potential.
