About me
My name is Nelly, and I’m a 17-year-old senior at East Ridge High School in Woodbury. During most of my school day, I attend classes at Century College through my 916 program, where I’m currently studying cosmetology. I’ve always enjoyed creativity and working with people, which is why the beauty industry really interests me. While I love learning about hair and styling, I’m especially passionate about esthetics and hope to focus more on skincare and helping others feel confident in their own skin. I’m motivated, hands-on, and excited to keep growing my skills as I prepare for my future career in the beauty field.

While I am learning many valuable techniques in cosmetology, I have become especially interested in esthetics and skincare. This portfolio represents my dedication, creativity, and the hands-on experiences I am gaining as I work toward my goals. It allows me to reflect on what I have learned so far and show my commitment to continuing to grow and succeed in the beauty field.
