Pamela Castro

I was born and raised in a hair salon I started helping my mother because she was hairdresser in Valencia Spain and got my first license at age 15. We moved to New York when I was 16 finish high school and cosmetology at the same time. my first job was in a salon where I felt really connected called the best litle hair salon located in Rye Ny. I worked there 6 years with Mr. Joseph Mirello was an incredible platform teacher. I had so much admiration to his career that I decided to open my own hair salon after he retired. My salon was called Diane's Hair salón located in port chester Ny. I got the Offer to become a cosmetology teacher for empire beauty school amazing experience because I was the only Spanish speaker teaching but the location from home was a trouble after having my son. I continued with education required to obtain my full NY teaching license. My dream is become a platform teacher. I already got my license for teaching barber, cosmetology ,aesthetic, permanent makeup and nail technician.
