Welcome, I'm Percy! I'm currently enrolled in Cosmetology school, and looking to make a career in this field. I plan to make a non profit de-matting service when I graduate, funded by doing nails and hair on the side!

Why I'm here
I'm looking to graduate of course. However, my real dream is to specialize in de-matting, applying wigs / extentions, and nails. De-matting might sound like a strange dream, but stay with me.
The thing that drew me most into the cosmetology field was the ability to help people feel better. As someone who has struggled with mental health and being bed ridden due to illnesses, my appearance took the blunt force of it. My hair had become tangled and knotted from being in bed, and I had to learn to de-matt in a comfortable way.
I plan to run a de-matting service in the future that I can support by doing nails and wigs / extentions. The service will be targeted at mental health patients and hospital patients who need a fresh reset.
