Professional Barber Shop, located at 811-815 Whittaker Parkway in Orangeburg, SC, is a family-rooted institution proudly serving the greater Orangeburg community for over 60 years. Built on family land by esteemed local African American contractor Mr. Douglas Jennings, our shop was founded by Paul and Josephine with a vision of professional excellence and community empowerment. Strategically positioned across from Whittaker Elementary School, our location was chosen to inspire students and the community alike — proving that with a dream, a plan, and dedication, self-employment is within reach. Our father trained hundreds of barbers over his career, many of whom went on to own their own shops across the Southeast and mid-Atlantic. We are committed to honoring that legacy every day.
