I am Mr October

My name is Randy Stanfield. I am originally from Buffalo, NY and I was raised in Los Angeles. I've always wanted to be a barber since I was 5 years old loving the atmosphere of the barbershop. I always knew that one day I would become a barber myself! My life took a turn when i became incarcerated at 21 and i did 10 years in prison for a poor decision, but I am living proof that one mistake doesn't dictate who you are as a person! One year after being released I was given an oppurtunity to cut hair on the set of "Doom Patrol" an HBO MAX series where i was the personal barber for a good friend of mine, "Joivan Wade". That experince changed my life which inturn lead me to work on other shows such as "Single Drunk Female", and three Tyler Perry shows, "Brahs, Sistas and The Oval". Im working toward my personal goal of having my own grooming lounge and changing the status quo of what a barbershop/salon should be like! I look forward to many new oppurtunities in this industry. The sky is the limit and beliving in oneself is the key to success!
I am here because I believe in the transformative power of hair. As a barber, I understand that hair isn't just about aesthetics; it's about identity, expression, and confidence. I'm here to elevate more than just strands of hair; I'm here to elevate lives. Every snip of the scissors, every stroke of the comb is an opportunity to empower, inspire, and create. I'm here to craft more than just hairstyles; I'm here to craft narratives, to shape stories, and to redefine beauty standards. I'm here because I recognize that hair is a canvas, and I'm the artist, painting strokes of individuality and self-assurance with every client who sits in my chair. I'm here to celebrate diversity, to embrace uniqueness, and to honor the rich tapestry of human hair in all its forms. I'm here because I understand that behind every hairstyle lies a journey, a story, and a person worth cherishing. I'm here to make a difference, one haircut at a time."
