About me
My Name is Rechia. I'm 28 years old, and I decided to live out my dream/passion by joining Beauty School. I'm currently employed with Capital One and have been employed with them since 2016. I've achieved many goals with this company from being ranked top 10% in my department many times, saving my company over 662k in fraud rings in elder scams back in 2020 during the pandemic. I'm currently a subject matter expert (SME) in my current department. I work full time and go to school full time. I'm very engaged in school as well, I've joined the student council and am currently holding the position of secretary. This is honestly something I wanted to do for years. Beauty is life, and life is beauty if you know you know.

Omg! Since I can remember I've had an interest in doing hair, from cutting my Barbies and Bratz dolls hair. Watching tv shows like Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Kim Kimble Salon, hair has always been my passion. The moment I hit the floor, I'm still getting comfortable but having this experience has made such a positive impact on my life. It's very important to find something you actually love as a career. Currently following and subscribing to different hairstylists and beauty influencers for years.It was the only time for me to switch over to this profession. I am self taught in making my own glueless wigs, I quickly learned how to take care of my own natural hair. I love that this industry makes you step out of your comfort zone and I'm completely out of mine. I'm so excited to see where this industry takes me. I'm extremely blessed to have this experience at this time and to be attending Summit Salon Academy.
