Hello there, thanks for taking your precious time to learn a little more about me, my passion & a portion of the many reasons I found love in cosmetology. My mission in becoming a successful cosmetologist is to be an example to the younger generation that comes from a unique background like me such as teen pregnancy, separated homes, depression, poverty etc.. My message to the youth is that you are not your circumstances & you can literally be whatever you put your mind, faith, and actions to. You change your mind, you change your life. Life is what you make it. The challenges you may face in life are all apart of your journey, it builds strength and character. I am one the many that has dealt with teen pregnancy & depression. I birthed my first child at the age of 16 & birthed my youngest daughter at the age of 18. While attending high school, I missed a lot of days of school. I was hanging with the wrong crowd of friends and just not focused as I should of been. I had to change schools and by the grace of God I graduated school on time. I found my love for the beauty world in the middle of my depression around the time I was 19 turning 20, me being able to create and express myself in a positive way to release the negativity helped me through that tough time and on top of that I was doing what I loved. I self taught myself how to do nails at the age of 19 and I found a deep passion for it, my craft brung me to a sense of peace. I continued my nail career throughout the years ON and OFF and also at one point was renting out a booth in a shop to do nails in. I eventually wanted to take my career to the next level, take it serious & continue going about it the right way. I knew that some day I will own several buildings that’ll be successful and of course some of those buildings will be nail & hair salons. I figured in order to do that I would have to obtain my cosmetology license, so out of many options I decided Elaine Sterling was the best and since I’ve started school I find a interest in hair as well so im interested in seeing where this will take me. School is expanding my knowledge about hair & I’ve been meeting some wonderful individuals and have gained some genuine friendships. It is one of the best decisions I’ve made so far. Im still on my journey to becoming a cosmetologist and I would love for you to be apart of my journey by becoming a client & being able to witness my growth with me when I finally accomplish my goals. thanks for choosing me.
