Riley Kvarda

Hi! It's me Riley! I am currently a student artist finishing the cosmetology program at Gene Juarez Academy North located in Mountlake Terrace! I recently graduated from Gonzaga University with my B.A. in May of 2019 and since have been pursuing my passion for hair and for the beauty I believe humans have to offer.I believe that that being a stylist is about more than just the hair. I am honored to have the privilege to touch individuals lives and connect on a level that people rarely get the opportunity to feel safe communicating in. I find myself doing my best work when I work to not only reach the desired style/cut/color but when I work to create a comforting and safe experience for my guest where they can feel like they have been listened too, respected, reassured and cared for. I am also very interested in participating in community outreach opportunities. Volunteering and non-profit work is something I have always been passionate about and want to continue to do within this industry. I am excited to be making progress in my cosmo journey as a student artist and I cannot wait to see where and how far I can go!
