Roots Salon and Head Spa was founded by Nicole and Dana — friends, stylists, and partners with over 20 years of combined experience who met at Jean Madeline cosmetology school in South Philadelphia. In 2019, they opened their first location in Milmont Park, building a loyal clientele and a warm, welcoming environment. After weathering the challenges of COVID-19, they expanded to a larger space at 234 Milmont Avenue in 2022. In 2025, they proudly opened a second location in Villanova, featuring an elevated salon experience and a luxurious Head Spa. From haircuts and color to head spa treatments, lashes, waxing, and makeup, Roots offers a comprehensive menu of services delivered by a talented, experienced team in a relaxed and trendy atmosphere.
