Rowen Bautts

I have always been a creative mind, drawing, painting, sculpting. When I was 18 I discovered makeup and a subsequent fascination, admiration, and passion for the art and beauty of it all. I originally attended cosmetology school looking to be a makeup artist and start my own business but that all fell away when I first learned to cut and color hair. A whole new world of creative possibility laid in front of me with so many options for career paths, specialties, and education. Pretty soon I was obsessed with balayage, foiling, and color correction and took as many appointments for those as I possibly could while at school. I have always wanted to learn extensions, too.       I achieved High Honors three times from the Aveda Institute Denver as well as several commendations for client reviews and exceeding retail expectations. I finished my program on May 11th and have been studying up for my State Boards as well as taking some much needed personal time, as we all know: beauty school isn’t easy as much as people may think it is. I am looking for a salon that prizes professionalism and quality over most. I am looking for a fast paced environment where I can learn and practice my craft and create my future. I hope this is you!
