Go Big or Go Home

My name is Sabrena Handley, and I was born in Eldridge, Alabama, where I spent the majority of my childhood. I have been happily married to my husband, Mike, for nearly 36 years, and we are proud parents of two sons, Jacob and Austin. With 35 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, I have dedicated my career to the beauty industry.
I am also an eight-year survivor of breast cancer and heart disease, and I serve as a Voice of Hope for the American Cancer Society. In addition to my professional commitments, I actively volunteer with several community programs.
Currently, I hold the position of Cosmetology Instructor at the Winfield City Career and Technical Academy, where I am passionate about educating future generations. In my spare time, I cherish moments spent with family and friends, often found at home or exploring the latest trends in avant-garde hairstyles for competitions on my iPad.

I am here to further my commitment to hair education, driven by a passion for teaching both aspiring and current hair enthusiasts. My goal is to travel and share the knowledge I have accumulated over my years as a cosmetologist. Additionally, I am eager to serve as a mentor to future generations in the industry.
My dedication to working behind the salon chair has naturally evolved into a love for participating in competitions. I relish the opportunity to challenge myself, expand my creativity, and continuously strive for personal improvement. I aim to inspire others to embrace this same vision of growth and excellence.
