Sam Adams

           It started out with doing my makeup in my high school bathroom before classes started, desparate to hide my heavy gothic look from my mother. That slowly started turning into me doing my friends' makeup before and after school. I learned to enjoy that special connection of helping someone feel more like themselves or who they wanted to be but couldn't due to external factors. Since then, I wanted to create a safe space for people to explore their identity.

        I always enjoyed styling my hair in unconventional ways; braided hair turned into ram horns, classic liberty spikes, recreating a fictional character's hair in real life. Doing things differently has always brought me joy and people have always loved the unique work I did on them, soI decided to learn the proper and safe ways to do it so I can promote healthy hair that still looks badass.
