I love the creative aspect of hairstyling, combined with the discipline of precision cutting, and scientific aspect of color formulation. I get a lot of joy sharing what I know with other stylists. It is exhilerating as a student to feel like you mastered a technique that makes you more confident! I love the energy in classes and the spontaneous moments for learning. Educating is my favorite part about being a stylist. 

Inspiration for my work comes from classic geometric hairstyles with precise lines. I love high fashion that is adventurous and unsual, Iris VanHerpen and Alexander McQueen. Drag queens, Sasha Velour, and queer culture are also sources of new ideas.
