Hi Honeys! Allow me to introduce myself! I’m Sam Appel — a 19-year-old small-town girl from German Valley, Illinois, soon to be a proud cosmetology school graduate. I grew up surrounded by cornfields, country music, and a whole lot of heart, and now I’m bringing that same energy into the beauty world. As a girls’ girl through and through, I believe in hype squads, big sister energy, and creating a space where every client feels like family. I’m the type of stylist who wants to hear about your day, your dog, your dream wedding, and everything in between while we glam you up. I’m currently specializing in nails, makeup, and special occasion hair (but I’m always open to diving into more hairstyling magic!). Outside the salon, you can usually find me hanging out with animals, sipping on a DQ Blizzard, or embracing my pink-loving, country-girl self. I understand how powerful confidence can be, which is why I’m dedicated to giving girls the confidence I wish I had growing up. Right now, I specialize in nails, makeup, and special occasions, and I can’t wait to make every client in my chair feel as beautiful and confident as they deserve.

I became a cosmetologist because I wanted to help other women discover the confidence and self-worth that I had difficulty finding when I was younger. Throughout my own journey, I often felt insecure and overlooked, and I know how deeply those feelings can affect how you see yourself. My goal is to be someone who empowers others to feel as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. My goal is to help every person who sits in my chair leave feeling better about themselves, reminding them that they are worthy, beautiful, and capable—just as I wish someone had reminded me when I was younger.💕
