My name is Samantha Blackburn. I was born and raised in Algona, Iowa but have since relocated to the Ankeny area. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, however, I realized my true passion lies in the field of Esthetics. I am now a student at PCI Academy in Ames looking to graduate with my license in Esthetics this Fall.

Why I'm here

I had a very long skin care journey in high school and this is where my real passion for Esthetics began. I was constantly doing research about ingredients and products to use to get rid of my acne. I have a background in education, so I found so much joy in helping my friends build their skin care routine. After joining the Esthetics program at PCI, I have a new found passion for lashes and waxing services as well!
