About me
My name is Samantha, I'm 18 years old and I've always had a passion for anything related to the beauty industry. I love shopping, traveling and being by the beach. I started at a young age doing my makeup for dance competitions and begging my mom to put fun colors in my hair. Later on, I helped out a close family friend over summer in her salon suite, just doing laundry and sweeping the hair off the floor. I instantly fell in love with seeing her transform hair weather it was with color or just a simple haircut. After a few summers I had stopped to continue competitive dance and drifted away from the salon. At the age of 17 I was thinking about what to do after high school and started working at Sorelli Hair Studio & Spa. I soon realized my passion for hair again and was certain this is where I want to be and what I want to do.

Why I'm here
I am here now because my parents supported my dream to become a hairstylist. The salon I have worked for has also become a family to me and are always teaching me new techniques and asking me about cosmetology school. Working in a fast pace salon has also taught me to not give up when things get hard. It has also taught me to deal with some challenging people. Those people have driven me to be better and keep learning this craft. I am excited to keep on learning everyday and continue my education after school.
