Savanna Ford

Hi! My name is Savanna, aka Savvy! I’m a born and raised so-cal girl but LOVE to travel and see new places, and of course meet new people! My ultimate goal for my career is to help other stylists grow in their own business and THRIVE! One thing that I pride myself in is being patient. I have patience in all aspects of my life; I thank my two children for helping me with that along the way! How I got into hair was actually a funny story, in high school I started getting into punk rock and I wanted to find a career that I could look all wild all while making a decent living. At 16 years of age, I started at an occupational school and enrolled in cosmetology. The rest is history!! Although it wasn’t easy. I was so unsure of my skills and second-guessed myself I ended up being an assistant on and off for about 5 years! I felt I wasn’t good enough, I also no longer wanted to work under anyone, so I had this wild idea to branch out on my own into a salon suite!  Crazy right?! Pretty insane, I didn’t have a choice but to step out of my comfort zone and dive in head first! I focused on giving my clients the best experience I could offer, and also social media. It only took 2 years for me to build a full and dreamy clientele! Some of my favorite color creations I’ve ever done is when I get free reign! I’ve even been nominated for a Behind the Chair one shot award, and came runner up in multiple contests! And I’m nowhere near stopping!
