Sayeeda Malachi

My name is Sayeeda Malachi, and I am on a journey to pursue my passion in the beauty industry. My interest is in all aspects of the beauty business. As a Muslim, I am determined to give back to my community by reinforcing the reality that we don't need to stop observing hijab to be successful in the beauty industry. I'm both excited and determined to contribute to the beauty industry in the Arabian Peninsula where I have family as well as close access to the holiest sites in Islam; for me, this is a beautiful life.

My Arabic skill is progressing to an advanced level, which I am learning for a professional level of communication. I am looking to have an employer who would be willing to invest in necessary training to grow me professionally. Currently I am a fourth year student at Arizona State University working toward my B.S. in Sociology online. After my graduation this December (2022), I will be pursuing a Master of International Business at Hult Dubai to solidify my growing skills for the business aspects of the beauty industry. I am also a Paul Mitchell alumna (Pasadena, California USA) and licensed cosmetologist. This prestigious school is where I gained my knowledge and skills with a diverse hands-on experience in the salon reality setting, as well as business skills for the industry.

Additionally, I have a certification in Ayurvedic Cosmetology (Advanced) from PVA School of Ayurveda and Yoga in India, and over 13 years of experience in caregiving which I believe collectively gives me a unique perspective on caring for the needs of the consumer. I understand the science behind product effectiveness for each individual's unique needs, and caring for people makes me happy. I would be pleased to meet my potential employer and have the opportunity to have a conversation on what I have to offer.
