Seahorse Barbershop is a queer-friendly, appointment-only private studio nestled in Tacoma's Hilltop Neighborhood. Founded in March 2024 by Cassandra Ward — a queer mom and Nebraska transplant proud to call Tacoma home — Seahorse was born from a desire to create inclusive, welcoming spaces in Grit City. Guided by the values of Quality, Connection, and Joy, Cassandra specializes in beard services and traditional short haircuts, offering beard trims, haircuts, shaves, and skin fades. Every service begins with a thorough, transparent consultation to ensure each client feels understood, confident, and most like themselves. Whether you're a longtime local or new to the PNW, all are welcome at Seahorse Barbershop.
