I had a passion to do hair ever since I was little. I would always curl my hair and try new hairstyles on myself because it was what I enjoyed doing. I took many paths in my life and dealt with many hardships but I didn’t let it stop me. I am hard of hearing and a Cochlear Implant recipient. These devices have helped me hear the world around me. Although people are wearing masks and It can get noisy in the salon, lip reading can be difficult. But that’s not going to stop me because I've learnt to tell people that I wear Cochlear Impants and that the easiest way for me to communicate is to read their lips. I want to make sure I offer exactly what the clients desire. My goal is for them to be happy when they leave the salon, so I'll do everything I can to make that happen. I'm interested in cutting, highlights, coloring, and styling hair, and I'd like to further my studies in these areas. I have a few ideas for things I hope and want to accomplish once I recieve my license, and I'm really excited about them. They are: working in salons with top stylists to further my knowledge and practice on clients to become more comfortable. And I'm also interested to work as an editorial stylist for photoshoots and magazines. In the future, I hope to eventually travel as well as having a strong clientele on the side when I’m home.

My dream has always been to be a hairstylist. This industry has not only makes me happy to do hair, but I can also make personal connections with the clients and make them look their best. Although I’m a beginner, I’m proud of my work I did so far and I’m excited to see more of what I can do in the future. I have a passion for what I want to do and I know that there’s always going to be a new learning process as I go. I would love to get out of my comfort zone and be able to see what I’m able to do.
