I knew by the age of 17 that I wanted to be a beauty professional. I started Cosmetology School straight out of high school at the age of 17. I was the youngest person in my program. My written goal in school was to be a Platform Artist, and I’ve been chasing that dream ever since. I got my Cosmetology license at 18 and immediately started working within the field. I started branding myself as a vivids/ creative color artist. My passion and creativity truly lies within fashion color. I’ve built my clientele on mostly vivids which is truly amazing in my humdrum Georgia town. I’ve since done 2 vivids classes for local beauty schools and tried to educate within my community. I always strive to do my very best while maintaining the integrity of my clients hair. I’m currently in my dream salon booth renting with some of the most talented colorists in town, but I’ve always wanted more out of my career than just a full book. I’d love to continue educating and inspiring others on a higher platform and making something of my career. It’s been a rocky road and I want to be realistic with people but also inspire them to continue reaching for their goals. I love everything about this industry- the artistry, creativity and freedom are all things I could never give up. I want to spread my wings so badly it aches within my heart. I want to soak up every bit of knowledge I can and pass it forward!
