Born and raised in California, I grew up in an artistic family. I was always happiest painting, drawing and crafting. I remember asking my mom for books on how to style hair at an early age. I was always the girl in the dugout at my softball games styling my teammates's hair, doing all my friends' updos for prom and experimenting with box dye in my bathroom. Although this was my passion, I was pushed to pursue a degree in another field. I quickly decided that I was not on the path that was right for me, and enrolled in cosmetology school at the age of 20. Personal and financial struggles put my goals on hold, until I was able to return and complete my schooling in 2010. I knew right away that my passion was in education, and took a job with the Paul Mitchell School that I had attended as a Design Team Leader. As I grew as a stylist and later on a salon owner, I found myself drawn back to education and returned to teach at another Paul Mitchell School. During this time I kept up to five different color lines on hand at any given time. It wasn't until the release on Pulp Riot's Faction8 that I felt completely aligned with one company in the industry. In 2018, I relocated from Northern California to Newnan, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. At this point I knew that I needed to focus on educating and I wanted to share my love of this brand. This year has been full of growth and change. I have rebuilt my clientele from scratch, adjusted to this new life with my family, and pursued my dreams of becoming an educator. I have taught several classes focusing on creative color, balayage, and styling, utilizing Pulp Riot, and am looking forward to more in the coming year.
