I am Shantavia Grier, and I've been creating art in hair braiding a little over 20 years. I was inspired to be a cosmetologist every since I was a child watching my mom braid and style hair. At the age of 13 is when I decided to incorporate my love for creativity and art, and incorporate it into hair braiding and styling. It has been my passion since the beginning and I'm open to the endless possibilities of styling all textures and creating more art using hair and a head as my canvas. Because I love art and being creative, I don't just end it at hair styling, I also create art with makeup and nails. I love it all, but my true passion will always be hairstyling!
