About me
Hello! My name is Shantel, my close friends and family call me Shanny. I am a mother to four daughters. I recently enrolled in to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell MTI College to fullfil my dream of specializing in hair and skin care. I have always been a lover of beauty and fashion, as well as having a passion for making an impact on others lives. Building a connection with someone while being a part of their tranformation is probably one of the best feelings in the world, in my opinion. One of my favorite quotes is, "We rise up by lifting others." I feel strongly that this career path will open up many doors of opportunity for myself and my family. More than anything, I want to crush this and make my daughters proud!

I am here to chase my dreams and to show my daughters that you can do anything you set your mind to! I would like to specialize in womens cuts and color. I'm pretty excited about working with the boys hair too! I am still learning and have a long way to go, but I have amazing teachers, friends and family supporting me along the way and I plan to put all of my effort in to this to be the best that I can be. Once I graduate, my plan is to work at a local salon and make a schedule around my daughters so that we can enjoy nightly dinners together and I can tuck them in to bed every night! Once I have established a cliental, I am open to relocate, depending on what opportunities come my way. I am over the moon for this new journey!
