Shaquecha Smith

Greetings! My name is Shaquecha (sha-quee-sha) Smith. Paul Mitchell of Jacksonville student. Hair is me. As far as I can remember back when I was 10 I started doing my own hair in attempt to prevent my grandmother from doing it . By the age of 11 I was doing family members hair. Braiding that is and styling little kids hair. As the years past I became better and better but as life saw fit I was pulled in another direction by age 20. I went on and was apart of the medical field for a good 6 years until I had to take leave due to health concerns . So here I was with time on my hand and I decided to go back to school . At first I just knew I wanted to stay in the medical field but along the psychology area. Yet I didn't feel the fire lit under me. So I sat and sat and it hit me. Go live out my full potential with cosmo. So here I am within a month of graduating. Before all I knew was braiding etc but I came into the program , fearless and open minded. I was eager to learn and soak up everything. I'm excited to see what's next. My joy comes from making others look and feel good. All is fair in the love of hair.
