Sharnique Cochran

I am currently an itinerant teacher/contractor and a part-time cosmetology student at night. My plans are to make a full-time transition into the beauty industry. I have a bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies, a masters degree in educational leadership, and a life coach certification.

In my spare time I enjoy image consulting, personal styling, and modeling. Previously I was a modeling, acting, and personal development instructor for youth ages 8-18 with Barbizon USA.

I have helped behind the scenes at fashion shows, competed in pageants, and walked the runway as a model in hair shows, fashion week events, and a segment for a local morning show. I am currently a hair and beauty industry model that receives casting information for events local to me or in surrounding cities. I recently was presented with the opportunity to earn some extra money for school by creating student content videos for Beauty Schools Directory.

As an up and coming hair stylist I enjoy perfecting my craft and learning more about silk presses, smoothing treatments, keratin treatments, loc retwists, and loc styling.
