Hey, Beauty Queens! I'm Shayna, the Founder + Onwer of Pretty Regal Beuaty Lounge. I'm a licensed esthetician, wife, and boy mom of 2 from Chicago, IL.

I started Pretty Regal in 2019, when I was stationed at Dover Air Force Base. Toward the end of my military career, I struggled deciding what to do next, but deep down I knew I needed to follow my passion in beauty. I did some research, and began selling premium raw hair extensions, but quickly realized that was not what I wanted to do. Around that time a coworker put me on to lash extensions. I drove an hour to get my lashes done the first time and I was obsessed. I took the lash course my lash artist was offering and it was such a challenge, which made me love it even more. I eventually made the decision to stop selling hair and focus solely on perfecting my craft. After leaving the military, my family and I moved back to Illinois, which is still one of the scariest things I've ever done. I started practicing +showing up online daily to attract clients. I went to school to become a licensed esthi that same year and continued taking clients in my apartment living room. At the beginning of 2022, I packed up my home studio and moved into a private suite. My hubby and kids helped to get everything set up and soon after Prbl was open for business.
