Shea Leary

Hi, I'm Shea Leary. My love for esthetics started when I was a highschool senior. I was researching ways to take care of skin for my friends, family and myself. While doing research I was very interested in the different ways that products effect different people and what should and shouldn't be used on ones skin. On top of my curiosity I had taken a job placement test in school and it pinned me as a good candidate for some type of cosmotology trade school. Put those two things together and boom, I was researching Esthetics programs in my area and registering for classes right away. I knew very quickly I had made the correct choice when I started school and my grades were better than ever. In high school I had a tough time with tests and classes but in my esthetics class I have scored between 85% and 95% on most of my tests and I even scored a 100% on my medical environment test. I am very proud of my academic accomplishments during my time at Penrose Academy. During school I developed a passion for the medical side including micro needling and chemical peels. I love to see how well my clients skin develops after these procedures. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge, skills and techniques in the field and having a long lasting career doing what I love.
